The Administrative Litigation Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Basque Country (TSJPV, for its acronym in Spanish) considers that gaming halls could be compensated if the court gives a favorable decision to the lawsuits that claim that the relationship between the transmission of COVID-19 and the opening of the gaming venues has not been confirmed.
The Justice will study the demands that are already being prepared from hospitality establishments since the transmission of the coronavirus and the opening of the gaming premises are not accredited.
We must emphasize that the application of the generic measure to all the hospitality industry would have the consequence that "many locals would find it practically impossible to wait for compensation" from the administration if they achieved a ruling in their favor.
