Germany is preparing to reopen operations after the restrictions for the Covid-19 emergency. We start with the exercises that can guarantee the safety distance.
Angela Merkel at a press conference gave the first indications of what the reboot program will be after the lockdown from Coronavirus.
- Until May 3, the provisions on safety distances and recommendations to wear masks and gloves remain, especially on public transport vehicles.
- From 4 May the schools reopen, gradually and starting with the classes that have to take the exams.
- Big events, concerts and football matches are forbidden, until August 31st.
Gaming operators and arcade operators are optimistic. The association of operators of Rhineland-Palatinate, one of the areas most affected by the virus, comments on the news:
- "At this stage it would be existential to foresee a restart also for the automatic gaming industry, but also to be able to reopen the gaming rooms."
- “Arcades are a public space in which the control requirements for contagion can be implemented very well. Public access to the rooms is very limited and the maximum number of visitors is severely limited by the obligation to install a maximum of twelve gaming machines per room, and at least twelve square meters per device.
Here below are the proposals of the association to guarantee the reopening:
- the installation of protective elements on the counter and in the play area
- the renunciation or limitation of the gastronomic offer
- the exclusive use of change machines to minimize the contact between guests and staff
- the placement of distance markers and direction markings, such as in supermarkets.
- disinfect the devices after each use
