North Rhine-Westphalia state finance minister Lutz Lienenkämperk admitted that they are preparing to privatize the four Westspiel Casinos. For this reason, the state bank finalized the purchase of 52 pieces of art from the Westspiel collection last year, which may now be available to the public.
The state-owned company Westspiel in NRW currently operates four casinos in Duisburg, Dortmund, Aachen and Bad Oeynhausen.
On the other hand, given the possibility that the casinos were acquired by the renowned Gauselmann Group, the minister only reported that preparations for the tender process are still ongoing.
