On October 12, casinos in Mexico City reopened after a total closure of 7 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The return to operations has been marked by strict security measures to guarantee the health of employees, customers and suppliers.
According to information from the Mexican newspaper Milenio, the protocol being implemented stands out for the following actions:
- Before entering, the staff asks users if they have presented any symptoms (headache or fever in the last 14 days)
- Use masks, face shields and gloves
- Body temperature check
- Use of sanitizing mat
- Antibacterial gel application
- Capacity control (30% of capacity)
- Constant sanitization of machines
- Machines located in the shape of circles or islands to respect the distance of 1.5 meters between each user.
