Mecca Bingo has revamped the façade of Glastonbury, Mecca Bingo in Knotty Ash, Liverpool in honor of Sir Paul McCartney's 80th birthday and long-awaited performance at the venue.
Mecca Bingo has surprised Liverpool residents with a Beatles-inspired makeover for Sir Paul McCartney's birthday tomorrow, June 18. In this way the establishment has become Macca Bingo until June 25th, when the logo will return to its original form.
The company has recalled that, during the 1960s, the Beatles used to play in dance halls that later became bingo halls in Mecca.
Currently, visitors to the club, in addition to playing bingo, can enjoy a variety of entertainment and gastronomic offers.
For those who cannot make it to Liverpool to pay tribute to Sir Paul, Macca Online offers the chance to play the Penny Lane game.
Lucy Coy, General Manager of Mecca Bingo Knotty Ash, commented: “We can't wait to see our customers' faces when they see the Macca Bingo logo this weekend. Sir Paul is such a national treasure, so we're delighted to celebrate his special birthday and landmark performance with a rebrand in his honor. Sir Paul, if you'd like to take over the microphone from one of our callers, we'd love to see you!"
