Genius Sports Announces New Head of Integrity for Latin America, Tiago Horta Barbosa

With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, sports regulation, and technology, Tiago will play a crucial role in Genius Sports' integrity partnerships in Brazil and throughout Latin America.

Tiago's previous roles include being a Criminal Police Officer for Interpol and a Prosecutor for the Superior Sports Justice Tribunal (“STJD”) in football. He is an active member of the Integrity Committees of the São Paulo Football Federation (“FPF”), the International Table Tennis Federation (“ITTF”), and the Fair Play Defense Committee of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (“COB”).

In his new role, Tiago will lead Genius Sports' integrity strategy across Latin America, including conducting customized educational workshops for players, coaches, and officials, working with sports betting to enhance cooperation and information sharing practices, and driving new partnerships. Tiago will also support Genius Sports' position as a founding member of ABRADIE, helping to bring together key stakeholders to ensure Brazilian sports are fair, transparent, and unpredictable.
