Brazil’s Secretariat for Prizes and Betting (SPA) under the Ministry of Finance has officially recognized Trisigma B.V., from the Netherlands, as the fifth certifying entity in the Brazilian fixed-odds betting market.
This recognition, formalized through Portaria SPA-MF No. 1,775 on November 8, 2024, grants Trisigma the authority to certify betting systems, live gaming studios, and online gaming platforms, ensuring compliance with the security and operational standards set forth in Portaria MF/SPA No. 300, dated February 23, 2024.
The certification requirement for betting platforms and operators is part of Brazil's federal strategy to create a safer betting environment by continuously assessing operators’ compliance within the regulated fixed-odds betting market. Trisigma’s certification role will support this mission by supervising and validating the systems used by authorized operators in Brazil.
