Aristocrat Leisure Limited Sells Plarium and Restructures Big Fish Games in Strategic Review of Gaming Assets

Aristocrat Leisure Limitedhas successfully completed the sale of its subsidiary, Plarium Global Limited, to Modern Times Group (MTG). This transaction, announced in November 2024 as part of a strategic review initiated in May 2024, will see the proceeds used to support Aristocrat's growth plans and capital management strategies. Further details are expected to be shared during its Annual General Meeting on February 20, 2025.

Post-review, Aristocrat decided to restructure Big Fish Games by focusing on efficiently managing existing titles and ceasing the development of new games. This shift will result in significantly reduced investments in the Big Fish portfolio.


Following the strategic review, Aristocrat will dissolve the Pixel United reporting segment and corporate team structure. Starting from the first-half results for the period ending March 31, 2025:

1. Product Madness will replace the Pixel United reporting segment, including results from both Product Madness and Big Fish.
2. Plarium will be classified as a discontinued operation, and its financial results will no longer be included in Net Profit after Tax and Before Amortization of Acquired Intangibles (NPATA).

Additionally, Superna Kalle, Aristocrat’s Chief Strategy Officer, will assume executive leadership of Product Madness while continuing to oversee Strategy, Corporate Development, Transformation, and Data.
