Aristocrat Leisure Limited, the global entertainment and gaming content company, announced changes to its senior-level management team. This Wednesday, the company confirmed that its Chief Technology Officer, Andy Hendrickson, has decided to resign from his role.
Appointed as the Chief Technology Officer back in July 2021, Hendrickson has since played a pivotal role in guiding the company and overseeing strategic processes. Collaborating with other senior-level executives, partners, and experts, Hendrickson proved to be a valuable addition to the C-suite.
However, unexpectedly, Aristocrat confirmed that Hendrickson has resigned from his role to continue his career with a competitor, the name of which was not disclosed. The company highlighted that Hendrickson fulfilled his contractual obligations, including a six-month notice period.
In light of the departure, which was not publicly announced before Wednesday, Aristocrat has already organized the transition of responsibilities to an executive who will hold the senior-level role on an interim basis. At the same time, the company confirmed that it continues a “rigorous internal and external search” for an executive to succeed in the role.
Trevor Croker, CEO and Managing Director of Aristocrat, commented on the matter. He praised Hendrickson’s contributions to the business over the past few years and expressed his anticipation for announcing his successor soon.
“We thank Andy for his contribution to our business over the past four years and look forward to announcing his successor in due course,” said Trevor Croker, Managing Director and CEO at Aristocrat Leisure.
