Sports betting giant bet365 has officially announced a sponsorship deal with the St. Louis Cardinals, one of Major League Baseball’s most iconic franchises, as part of its strategic expansion into the U.S. market. The agreement comes just ahead of the anticipated launch of legal sports betting operations in the state of Missouri, expected in the second half of 2025.
As part of the partnership, bet365 secures extensive advertising rights across various Cardinals platforms, including radio broadcasts, the Cardinals Insider TV show, the official website cardinals.com, and ballpark signage visible during televised games. The sportsbook will also sponsor the team’s starting lineups at Busch Stadium and receive rights to use the team’s logo in its marketing.
A standout element of the agreement is bet365’s acquisition of naming rights to the bet365 Bridge, an all-inclusive, outdoor seating deck located on the second level in right-centerfield at Busch Stadium. The area includes reserved seating, unlimited ballpark fare, and complimentary Budweiser, Bud Light, and Coca-Cola products. Missouri voters approved sports betting through Amendment 2 in the November 2024 general election. However, legal operations are not expected to commence until later in 2025, once the state finalizes regulations for prospective operators.
