Kaizen Foundation and UEFA Foundation for Children promote inclusion of amputee children through football

On April 28, the Kaizen Foundation will sponsor a showcase amputee football match featuring players from Greece, England, and Poland at Colovray Stadium in Nyon (15:30-16:45 CEST), followed by a trophy ceremony.

The event, organized in collaboration with Football Is More and the European Amputee Football Federation, will focus on the role of inclusion in sports, highlighting the talent and determination of amputee athletes.

Earlier that day, at 11:00 CEST at the Château de Bossey, the Kaizen Foundation will also support an Inclusion Conference discussing football’s role in promoting social responsibility, featuring speakers such as Prof. Dr. Jürgen Buschmann from the German Sport University of Cologne.

Expanding the partnership: "Legacy for the Future" Project

The Kaizen Foundation and UEFA Foundation for Children are also expanding their successful partnership through the "Legacy for the Future" project, aimed at empowering girls and women across Portugal, Belgium, Germany, and Denmark, removing barriers in football, education, and legal rights.

This builds upon the "10,000 Smiles" project, which provided UEFA EURO 2024™ match tickets to vulnerable children. Kaizen Foundation will strengthen its support by donating €300,000 to further assist the Foundation's mission.
