Åland-based gaming company Paf, known for its commitment to responsible gaming, has announced a multi-year partnership with Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Räikkönen.
The agreement is conditional on Paf receiving a gaming license in Finland, where the market is expected to transition to a competitive licensing system by early 2027.
Thomas Näsman, Manager at Paf, commented:
“We’re proud to welcome Kimi to the Paf team. He’s a true Finnish icon, and we appreciate his honesty and straightforward nature—values that align closely with our brand. At Paf, our ambition is to become the world’s most responsible gaming company while continuing to contribute to the public good. As Finland opens its market, we’re excited to have Kimi by our side.”
Kimi Räikkönen shared his view on the new partnership:
“To be honest, several gaming companies reached out to us, but none of them caught our attention—except Paf. Their history, transparency, sense of responsibility and Finnish identity were key factors for me. I also liked how direct, decisive and fast the people at Paf were when closing the deal. As new opportunities arise for Paf in mainland Finland, I hope this collaboration will be beneficial for them.”
