Ceuta showcased its strategic vision this Thursday in Madrid to position itself as a key player in Spain’s economic landscape. Under the slogan "Ceuta, the Perfect Triangle", the Autonomous City highlighted its strengths as a fiscally competitive, technologically advanced, and safe destination for investment, in front of more than 150 entrepreneurs from the tech and services sectors.
Held at Florida Park and hosted by journalist Toni Garrido, the event is part of the Nettech Tour, a national roadshow designed to promote Ceuta’s business ecosystem. After previous stops in Barcelona and Málaga, the tour will conclude in June with CETEC, a major gathering of companies, investors, and institutions in Ceuta.
The event featured key institutional voices, including Nicola Cecchi, Ceuta’s Minister of Tourism, Trade, Employment and Sport; Juan Bravo, Deputy Secretary of Economy for the People's Party; and Karim Bulaix, President of Ceuta’s Chamber of Commerce. They emphasized the crucial role of the private sector and Ceuta’s unique fiscal framework in attracting investment and supporting entrepreneurship.
The day included high-profile presentations such as:
- Alberto García Valera (EY): “Ceuta: the most tax-efficient territory in Europe”
- Nacho Velila (Templus): “Data centers that bring distances closer”
- Gorka Jiménez (Var Group): “Building with courage. Making the impossible real”
- Manuel Gómez (Avangreen): “Digitalization, energy and sustainable mobility”
- Joaquín Mollinedo (Chamber of Commerce): “Odissea, a high-tech tourism incubator”
The event confirmed Ceuta’s growing relevance as a strategic hub in Spain’s evolving economic model, driven by fiscal incentives, digital infrastructure and legal certainty.
