The Instituto Brasileiro de Jogo Responsável (IBJR) has released the fourth video of its awareness campaign, tackling the “elephant in the room”: the thousands of illegal betting platforms operating in Brazil and defrauding players.
The message is clear: illegal bets put players at risk, while regulated platforms provide a transparent, safe, and responsible environment.
The campaign highlights that all betting sites regulated by the Federal Government in Brazil end with “.bet.br”, ensuring compliance with player protection standards. IBJR also clarifies that some platforms are authorized at the state level, but in such cases their legal operation is restricted exclusively to that state’s territory.
With this initiative, IBJR reinforces its commitment to defending a legal and responsible market, stressing the importance of always choosing safe, regulated platforms.
