Scientific Games has released its Annual Sustainability Report, highlighting progress in environmental stewardship, responsible gaming, employee well-being, community impact, and product innovation. The publication underscores the company’s commitment to responsible growth and long-term value creation for partners and the communities it serves.

Celebrating more than five decades of leadership in the government-regulated lottery industry, Scientific Games continues to set the standard for integrity, responsibility and innovation. The report details ESG progress ranging from climate action and sustainable product design to people development and community partnerships.
Report highlights
- Community engagement: contributed (with partners) over €92 billion for good causes worldwide (education, healthcare, environmental protection and social programs). Local initiatives included food security programs in North America and Europe, an urban farm in Montreal, and U.S. disaster relief.
- Empowering employees: expanded inclusion, belonging and respect initiatives, enhanced recognition and learning programs, and continued to promote well-being and safety. In 2024 employees joined the 4th SG Runs Global Virtual 5K across 16 countries and the 5th Scientific Games Awards.
- Healthy Play & lottery literacy: strengthened responsible gaming leadership through new global research, expanded internet RG standards and advanced certification, with continued recognition from industry bodies.
- Environmental stewardship: broadened GHG emissions tracking across global facilities, continued rolling out the Scopes 1–3 decarbonization plan, adopted renewable energy at multiple sites and achieved measurable gains in energy efficiency.
- Sustainable products & circular economy: advanced the use of recyclable and responsibly sourced materials, including the award-winning Le Billet Vert scratch game (with Loto-Québec, Sustana Papers and Recyc-Québec), and launched WAVE Contour, a retailer terminal designed for end-of-life recyclability.
- Serving 150 lotteries in 50 countries, Scientific Games is the world’s largest lottery games company, the fastest-growing lottery systems provider, and a leading digital lottery solutions provider. The company is among the first globally WLA-certified as a Responsible Gaming Supplier.
