GLI Obtains Official Recognition from Uzbekistan Regulator to Certify Gaming Products
The laboratory has been included by the National Agency of Perspective Projects (NAPP) among the entities whose test and certification reports are accepted in the country, which opens up a way for operators and suppliers to access this emerging market in Central Asia.
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has been officially included by Uzbekistan's regulatory authority, the National Agency of Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP), in the list of laboratories whose test and certification reports are accepted in the country. The company announced the milestone from its headquarters in Lakewood, New Jersey on August 25, 2026.
With this official listing, operators and suppliers will be able to use GLI's certification reports to launch their gaming products on the Uzbek market, facilitating orderly and compliant access. The market is now in its operational phase, with four licenses granted so far split between two operators.
The company frames the achievement as a significant step to consolidate its position in Uzbekistan, an emerging market in Central Asia, and to strengthen its role as a testing and certification laboratory in newly regulated and developing jurisdictions on a global scale.

"NAPP's management wants to ensure that the growth of the game is developed in a controlled and sustainable manner, and we at GLI are pleased to apply our global regulatory expertise as Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian gaming market continue to develop," he added.
Earlier this month, GLI's and NAPP's management teams held a meeting to discuss the new framework and align ways in which the laboratory can support long-term market growth. As part of the technical framework is still being defined, GLI is in active dialogue with NAPP to further refine it.
