The group has posted seven consecutive quarters of improvement in the profitability of its retail business, driven by the strength of Argentina, Spain, Mexico and the online business.
Grupo Codere, a multinational in the entertainment and gaming sector, has presented its results for the second quarter of 2026, a period in which it has consolidated its growth thanks to the performance of its online and retail businesses and the sustained improvement in its profitability.
During the quarter, the group obtained gaming revenues (Gross Win) of €352.5 million, 5.8% more than in the same period of the previous year, while adjusted EBITDA grew by 14.1%, to €57.6 million. At constant exchange rates, the advance would have reached 9% in revenues and 17% in adjusted EBITDA.
One of the milestones of the quarter was the consolidation of the improvement in profitability of the retail business, whose adjusted EBITDA in terms of the last twelve months (LTM) reached 197.6 million euros at the end of June, 22.7% more than a year earlier. With this, the division has posted seven consecutive quarters of growth, reflecting – according to the company – the effectiveness of management and the optimization measures implemented.
The online business once again recorded a particularly outstanding evolution, with an adjusted EBITDA of 11.8 million euros, 23% higher than in the same period of the previous year, consolidating itself as one of the main drivers of growth and profitability for the group. Argentina, Spain, Mexico and the online business itself led the increase in profitability in the quarter.
The company also maintained a solid financial position, with cash of €142.3 million at the end of June, made up of €79.6 million corresponding to the retail business and €62.7 million in Codere Online.
