PlayCentral, Scientific Games' family of self-service terminals, incorporates artificial intelligence and the GameChoice feature to personalize the lottery game
The company will showcase its expanded range of terminals at the annual conference of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries, in Orlando.
Scientific Games has expanded PlayCentral, its family of self-service terminals for the lottery retail channel, with the addition of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and the new GameChoice feature, which add to the real-time intelligence of the SCiQ platform on which these teams are based.
The company will present this range next week at the annual conference of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), which is held in Orlando. The approach advocated by Scientific Games is based on the idea that there is no single format valid for all lottery outlets, so PlayCentral has been designed to integrate into virtually any type of retail environment.
The family is structured in several configurations depending on the space and profile of the establishment. PlayCentral Pro is aimed at high-traffic retailers; the Compact and Fit models are designed for locations with limited space; and Flex is aimed at bars, taverns and social venues.
As the main functional novelty, the terminals offer dynamic game recommendations that personalize the experience of each player. According to the company, this capability also contributes to boosting product testing and generating incremental sales in the retail network.
