Casino and Latin America drive the group's growth in a quarter of lower year-on-year profitability.

Betsson has closed the third quarter of 2026 with record revenues of €326.5 million, 10% more than a year earlier, while its net profit fell to €28.2 million, compared to €50.1 million in the same period of 2025, a drop of close to 44%.

Organic revenue growth was 8%. By products, casino advanced by 14% and sports betting by 1%, with a sportsbook margin of 8.1%, compared to 8.8% in the third quarter of the previous year.

The increase in activity did not prevent profitability from declining. EBITDA fell by 23% to €63.4 million, and its margin went from 27.9% to 19.4%. Operating profit (EBIT) fell by 31% to €46.1 million, with a margin of 14.1%, compared to 22.6% a year earlier.

However, management highlights that both operating profit and margin improved compared to the second quarter of 2026, despite a considerably lower sports betting margin. This quarterly recovery therefore coexists with the year-on-year drop in profits.

Latin America was the main driver of growth, with an increase in revenues of more than 50%. Peru and Argentina once again stood out for customer activity and business progress, which Betsson relates to its marketing campaigns linked to the World Cup.

The number of active B2C customers reached 1.9 million, compared to 1.3 million in the comparable period. According to management, the growth was 40% and set a new high, accompanied by higher deposits and total gaming volume.

On the corporate front, Betsson completed the acquisition of Rhino Entertainment Group at the beginning of August, which was subsequently incorporated into its accounts and with a positive contribution to revenue and results for the quarter. At the end of September, Betsson also launched the Betsson brand in Belgium by changing its commercial name to betFIRST.

The company continued to strengthen its proprietary technology and offering, with new betting options during football overtime and team and player pages. In the casino, it premiered Gates of Inter, an exclusive game linked to its sponsorship of Inter Milan, which joins previous proposals from Boca Juniors and Atlético Nacional.

In the cumulative period from January to September, revenues amounted to €922.1 million, up 3%, while EBITDA fell by 30% to €171.8 million. Net profit stood at €84.1 million, compared to €147.5 million in the first nine months of 2025.

Management signals a positive start to October and maintains its objective of recovering earnings growth. VIEW REPORT
