The FTSE 100 betting company, which owns brands such as Bwin, Coral, Eurobet and Ladbrokes, said the changes follow a long-term succession process and will take place at the close of business Friday.
Mr. Alexander, who joined GVC as CEO in 2007, has offered to remain available to his successor as required, the company said.
