During the third quarter of 2021, PRAGMATIC PLAY has donated more than € 40,000 to five causes in Malta, Gibraltar, and Romania as part of its great social commitment to the communities where it operates.
PRAGMATIC PLAY has summarized its great contribution to major charities and nonprofits that make a difference.
Homeless Animal Hospital (Romania)
After a previous contribution, the operator gave a further donation of € 7,000 to the team at that institution located on the outskirts of Bucharest.
ANAIS Association (Romania)
Pragmatic Play donated € 10,000 to the ANAIS association, founded at the end of 2011 with the main objective of promoting, respecting, and defending the rights of abused women, children, and youth.
Step Up For Parkinson’s (Malta)
Pragmatic Play had the pleasure of visiting the Step Up For Parkinson team and donated € 5,000 to contribute to a better quality of life for all those affected by Parkinson's disease
YMCA (Malta)
Pragmatic Play recently supported the YMCA Malta, an NGO that provides shelter and other services to homeless and socially disadvantaged communities, with a € 10,000 donation.
On the specific case of the YMCA, Julian Jarvis, executive director of Pragmatic Play, said: "The past 18 months have been a leveler for people from all walks of life, but none have suffered more than the homeless community."
Calpe House (Gibraltar)
Pragmatic Play partnered within Calpe House in Gibraltar and donated £ 11,000 to the team there. Calpe House provides accommodation and support to patients and companions sent to the UK under the Gibraltar Health Authority. Calpe House will use the Pragmatic donation to build a business suite that will allow sponsored patients and / or their escorts to have a space in which to carry out remote working whilst they are away from Gibraltar.
