In its latest ranking, Forbes updates the profile of Paul Gausselmann and his family, who go from position 752 in 2021 to 728 in 2022, on the list of billionaires.
According to Forbes, Paul Gauselmann, CEO and founder of the Gauselmann Group has been called the "pope of the amusement business" in Germany and points out that he began his career in 1957, working as an apprentice telecommunications inspector and assembling jukeboxes in his free time.
We must remember that, in 1964, Paul Gauselmann founded the company that became the Gauselmann Group. He opened the first Merkur amusement arcade in 1974.
Currently, the Gauselmann Group has annual revenues of around €2.8 billion and employs more than 13,000 people.
