GLI Appoints Steve May and Samuel Grunther to Its Customer Services and Solutions Teams

 Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®) has further expanded its Client Solutions and Client Services teams with the addition of Steve May as Client Solutions Executive and Samuel Grunther as Account Executive.

 Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®) has further expanded its Client Solutions and Client Services teams with the addition of Steve May as Client Solutions Executive and Samuel Grunther as Account Executive.

GLI stresses that Steve May has extensive experience in parimutuel, racing and compliance, and that extensive experience will provide value to GLI's clients.

Before joining GLI, he was the Executive Director of the Minnesota Racing Commission. He also served as Director of Pari-Mutuel Betting and Compliance for the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission, and Vice President/Business Manager for the International Association of Racing Commissioners. He is accredited to officiate Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, and Harness races throughout North America.

On the other hand, Samuel Grunther has a strong track record in the iGaming and sports betting industry, and in his new role at GLI, he will provide ongoing customer and business support to both providers and operators in the space.

The company has highlighted within his previous experience his work at Conduet, where he worked as a specialist in customer relations and conversations; FanDuel, as Customer Operations Agent; Guest Relations Operator at Madison Square Garden; and ticket operations associate for the New York Yankees.

Speaking of the new appointments, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and General Counsel Kevin Mullally said: “Steve May has been a successful problem-solver throughout his career, and we are fortunate to have him join the GLI team. He is known for playing an essential role in developing a regulatory framework for historical horse racing. However, his technical acumen and knowledge of developing and implementing compliance programs will greatly benefit a wide array of our clients. He has earned the trust of both regulators and the industry, and we are grateful to have him on the team.”

While, the vice president of Client Services, Salim L. Adatia, said: “Sam's strong knowledge and understanding of the sports media landscape, coupled with his experience collaborating cross-departmentally within companies spanning iGaming and sports betting, will allow him to hit the ground running and immediately contribute to satisfying the needs of our quickly growing list of valued clientele, thereby illuminating their path for their success and growth”.
