Leveraging a unique fiscal framework and a strategic gateway between Europe and Africa, the Autonomous City unveils a pro-startup hub and takes its message to MERGE Madrid (Oct 7-9) and the European Blockchain Convention (Oct 16-17).
Ceuta has taken a firm step toward the future with the launch of Ceuta Tech Hub, a strategic project that positions the city as a benchmark for innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology. The hub’s mission is to nurture a vibrant ecosystem for startups and digital companies, providing a competitive and sustainable environment for new projects to grow.
A key attraction of Ceuta Tech Hub is its unique fiscal framework in Europe, which includes Corporate Tax incentives, personal income tax (IRPF) reductions of up to 60%, advantages in social security contributions, and a very low IPSI (local indirect tax) for digital services. Combined with Ceuta’s strategic location at the crossroads of Europe and Africa, these conditions make the city an exceptional business enclave with fewer barriers and more opportunities for scaling.
Ceuta Tech Hub’s international projection will be reinforced through its participation at MERGE Madrid, from October 7 to 9, and at the European Blockchain Convention (EBC) on October 16 and 17—two of Europe’s leading technology events. There, the initiative will showcase Ceuta’s competitive advantages, forge strategic partnerships, and consolidate the city’s position on the global innovation map.
With this initiative, Ceuta is betting on economic diversification and opening a pathway of collaboration and growth for companies, entrepreneurs, and investors who choose to be part of this emerging ecosystem. The hub will act as a catalyst for talent, innovation projects, and high-value services—particularly in digital industries—while promoting quality employment and long-term development.
