The event, held from October 7–9 at The Venetian Expo, brought together more than 400 companies from over 120 countries and attracted over 25,000 industry professionals. Merkur Gaming was one of the few German companies present, showcasing its extensive product range alongside its sister companies and strategic partners.

Strengthening US Presence After Key Acquisitions

This year’s G2E was of particular importance for the group following the granting of a manufacturers and distributors license in the state of Nevada and the recent acquisition of Gaming Arts, LLC.

Lars Felderhoff, Chairman of the Management Board of the Merkur Group, stated that the trade fair impressively showed: "We are back in North America! The trade fair was a great success and allowed us close and intensive exchanges with our customers – not only from Latin America but also from the northern part of the continent." He emphasized that "the strong interest in our brand and products proves that Merkur resonates in America and has its finger on the pulse."

Outstanding New Content in the Game Portfolio

Merkur Gaming’s product showcase focused primarily on its new content repertoire. Among the highlights, the brand-new jackpot system Link Palace was introduced, drawing attention with its wild reels, free spins, and symbol boost features. Another audience favorite was the game Spire in the Clouds.

Gaming Arts, Center Stage at Merkur World

Gaming Arts, which officially became part of the group just a few weeks ago, took center stage. The Las Vegas-based gaming provider presented its largest G2E lineup to date with 14 new game titles. The hit game ‘Glory of Giza’ was particularly popular. The US version of its Mod Ex cabinet was also showcased, adapted for the American market with modernized LED lighting, optimized audio quality, and refined hardware.

Other partners present at the booth included:

GeWeTe, with machine-compatible solutions for checking, issuing, and recycling banknotes and coins.

Bede Gaming, showcasing its high-performance gaming platform.

Spintec, the Slovenian ETG (Electronic Table Game) specialist, with an extensive roulette and live gaming offering.

Dominik Raasch, Management Board Member of Merkur Games, summarized that G2E once again proved to be "the ideal platform to showcase our diverse product portfolio to a wide audience, establishing new business relationships and driving forward future-oriented developments." Furthermore, he highlighted that the personnel decisions announced, including the appointments of Marcel Heutmekers (Senior Vice President Merkur Games International) and Günter Blümel (Acting Head of Product), "will significantly contribute to the sustainable improvement of our worldwide market position."
