Peter Jackson leaves Flutter after almost a decade at the helm: Dan Taylor, current CEO of the international division, takes over the management of the group

Taylor is currently CEO of Flutter's international division, which in 2025 generated more than $9 billion in revenue and more than $2.2 billion in adjusted EBITDA. During his time at the helm, the business has grown through a series of acquisitions and strategic transformations, as well as sustained organic growth, strengthening Flutter's competitive position in key regulated markets.

As Flutter's president since May 2026, Taylor also assumed responsibility for the commercial execution of the group's entire global portfolio and has played a central role in the recent reorganization of FanDuel's sportsbook, a plan that the company says is showing early signs of traction.

Under his leadership, Flutter has transformed from Paddy Power Betfair into the global leader in online sports betting and online gaming. He has led its growth into a truly global business, with a portfolio of leading brands, and leaves the company in golden positions around the world and exceptionally well placed for the future."

Dan Taylor said: "I am delighted to take on the role of Group CEO at such an important time for Flutter. Peter Jackson, who is leaving the company after nearly nine years, said: "It has been a privilege to lead Flutter's transformation, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved. Flutter is a fantastic business, with a portfolio of world-class brands, talented peers and real competitive advantages. Having worked closely with Dan for many years, I have seen first-hand his ability to grow businesses, build strong teams and deliver exceptional results. I leave with full confidence in Dan, the management team and the future of the company."

The handover was announced on the same day that Flutter published, in a separate statement, its results for the second quarter of 2026, with global revenues of $4,326 million in the quarter ended June 30, up 3% year-on-year. In the 2025 financial year as a whole, the group had a turnover of $16,383 million. Flutter operates a portfolio of leading brands that includes FanDuel, Sky Betting & Gaming, Sportsbet, PokerStars, Paddy Power, Sisal, Snai, tombola, Betfair, MaxBet, Junglee Games, Adjarabet and Betnacional.

In terms of his career, Taylor has more than a decade in management positions at Flutter. He was CEO of Paddy Power Betfair between 2018 and 2020 – with global responsibility for Paddy Power, Betfair and Adjarabet – and, before that, managing director for the UK and Ireland and the Retail division between 2015 and 2018. Throughout his career, he has led much of the group's M&A strategy, contributing to more than $300 million in synergies and efficiencies. He is also a non-executive director of Dunelm plc and holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Cambridge.
