Betsson expands its presence in Greek football as title sponsor of Hellas Syrou FC
The operator becomes the main sponsor of the Greek club for the upcoming season and adds to the alliance a series of community initiatives in Syros and the Cyclades.
Betsson has reached a new sponsorship agreement with Hellas Syrou FC by which it becomes the club's Main Sponsor for next season, a move that reinforces its presence in Greek football.
Founded in 1929, Hellas Syrou represents the island of Syros and the whole of the Cyclades in Greek professional football. The club currently competes in Super League 2 after a period of solid sporting development.
According to Betsson, the agreement reflects its continued commitment to supporting sport and organizations with strong local roots, while opening up opportunities to connect with communities beyond the pitch.
In addition to sponsorship, Betsson and Hellas Syrou will collaborate on community initiatives in Syros and the Cyclades, with activities focused on areas such as inclusion, sports education, respect and fair play.
Thanos Marinos, Managing Director of Betsson in Greece, said: "At Betsson we believe that sport has an important role to play in bringing people and communities together. Hellas Syrou combines a strong identity and history with clear ambitions for the future, while maintaining a close connection with the local community. We are pleased to support the club in its development and look forward to building a relationship that goes beyond football, with initiatives capable of generating a positive impact on Syros and the whole of the Cyclades."
George Leontaritis, President of Hellas Syrou, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Betsson as the title sponsor of Hellas Syrou. The partnership represents an important step in the club's continued development and is a strong recognition of the progress we have made. We look forward to working together, both in supporting our sporting ambitions and through initiatives that contribute positively to our local community."
