OpenBet acquires sports betting technology provider OmniLogic and adds its team in Gy?r, Hungary
The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close before the end of 2026 and strengthens the company's position in the global lottery market.
OpenBet, a global provider of betting and gaming technology, content and services, has reached an agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a specialist provider of sports betting technology, in a transaction that reinforces its position as a reference partner to lotteries around the world. The transaction, announced on September 15, 2026 from North Ryde (New South Wales, Australia), is subject to the corresponding regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed throughout 2026.
The acquisition will expand OpenBet's presence in regulated lottery markets, adding new operator partnerships and specialized sports betting expertise to its global business. Once completed, the company will strengthen its status as a leading provider of sports betting solutions and platform for World Lottery Association (WLA) members worldwide.
The OmniLogic team has been providing sports betting technology services to large regulated lottery operators and members of the World Lottery Association for more than a decade. Its platform supports omnichannel betting operations – retail, online and mobile – for major lottery and betting operators in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, with capabilities spanning trading, risk management and back-office functions.
As part of the transaction, OmniLogic's dedicated team, headquartered in Gy?r, Hungary, will be integrated into OpenBet, bringing deep technical knowledge and extensive experience in the development and support of sports betting technology across the physical and digital channels. The company underlines that the addition adds scale, technological capability and operational strength to its global business, reinforcing its role as a partner to Tier 1 operators in complex and highly regulated betting markets.
