The Platform for Sustainable Play reinforces its commitment to families with The Family Watch
The Platform for Sustainable Gambling continues to strengthen its links with leading organisations in the field of the family and has participated as a sponsor in the charity golf tournament organised by The Family Watch Foundation, held at the National Golf Centre in Madrid, within the framework of the alliance that both entities have maintained since 2024.
The collaboration in this initiative is part of the agreement signed in 2024 between the Platform for Sustainable Play and The Family Watch, and represents a new step in a relationship that shares as one of its main objectives to contribute to the well-being of families, especially through training, education, awareness and prevention in the face of new social challenges.
Beyond the sporting and solidarity dimension of the tournament, the participation of the Platform is a new opportunity to bring its activity closer to civil society organisations whose work is directly linked to families and their role as a fundamental space for education, accompaniment and transmission of values.
Cristina García, general secretary of the Platform for Sustainable Play, stressed that cooperation with social, educational, family and institutional entities is a fundamental piece to continue advancing in a responsible and sustainable leisure model, and pointed out that the sponsorship of The Family Watch charity tournament represents a new expression of a shared commitment and an alliance that both entities continue to consolidate.
