GMONITOR conquers Lisbon and is crowned champion of the SBC First Pitch 2026

GMONITOR has won the SBC First Pitch 2026, the startup competition held on October 1 as part of the SBC Summit in Lisbon.

The victory has been confirmed by the organization itself, which has highlighted that five emerging companies went up to the Product Innovation Showcase Stage to defend their product, business model and growth strategy live before a specialized jury.

GMONITOR finally prevailed over Betsy, InsightPlay.ai, Safefy and Whizgen AI, the other four startups that had reached the grand final. SBC Events

Each of the five finalists had three minutes to present their project and another three minutes to answer the jury's questions, in a particularly demanding format designed to evaluate product, business model, scalability and growth capacity. SBC Events

GMONITOR's winning proposal is based on an AI-powered competitive intelligence platform capable of monitoring promotions, games, advertising, rankings, regulation and other market movements to offer operators and suppliers a faster view of what the competition is doing. SBC Events

The victory also has an important strategic value. The SBC First Pitch is specifically designed for young companies with already developed products and growth ambitions. To be eligible, companies had to have been founded from 2023 onwards, operate in sports betting or online casino, have a minimum viable product and be looking for at least 500,000 euros of investment. The prize package aims precisely to accelerate the next phase of the company's development. The organization has placed its value at around 139,400 euros, including technological resources, commercial visibility, future presence in SBC, marketing services, communication, advice and tools aimed at business growth.
