Gerhard Hubmann leaves Bally Wulff to focus on APEX Germany and international projects
Gerhard Hubmann, who is stepping down from BALLY WULFF to focus on APEX Germany and new international projects.
Lorenz Ihde, with 15 years with the company, joins the general management of the German manufacturer.
Gerhard Hubmann left the CEO of Bally Wulff, a German gaming machine manufacturer based in Berlin, on September 30, 2026. He had been part of it since February 2023. Hubmann will continue as CEO of APEX Germany and will devote more time to international projects. During the time he shared management with Michael Heiss, his areas included finance, marketing, sales, customer service and the business in Spain.
"I am grateful for my time at Bally Wulff, for the many valuable experiences and for the trust that has been placed in me. I look back on the past few years and wish the entire Bally Wulff team all the best for the future. I am very excited about new assignments and international projects," said Gerhard Hubmann.
Since 1 October 2026, his successor is Lorenz Ihde, who has been with the company for 15 years . Until now, he held a management position in the area of development and was a member of the works council for many years. According to Bally Wulff, his long history and different experiences allow him to get to know the company "from different perspectives".
"I am very grateful for the trust placed in me. I am looking forward to my new task, the responsibility it entails and the challenges ahead. It is particularly important to me to consolidate the new products already launched on the market and to actively contribute to shaping the future of Bally Wulff," said Lorenz Ihde.
Michael Heiss, co-CEO of Bally Wulff since September 2023, welcomed the changes: "I would like to expressly thank Gerhard Hubmann for his commitment and valuable collaboration.
