MERKUR has chosen G2E 2026 in Las Vegas to present one of its main novelties for North America: the new Mod Ex C49, a vertical cabinet that expands the Mod Ex family and incorporates a striking 49-inch C-Curved screen.

The new cabinet also represents one of the most visible examples of the integration between MERKUR and Gaming Arts, combining MERKUR's expertise in hardware with the US company's product and market knowledge.

The Mod Ex C49 thus joins the already known Mod Ex 332 and Mod Ex J55, reinforcing a family of furniture that MERKUR is progressively adapting to the specific characteristics and needs of the North American market.

The presentation of the new hardware comes twelve months after MERKUR and Gaming Arts appeared together for the first time at G2E. Since then, the collaboration between the two companies has advanced in product, technology, processes and organization.

"Last year's G2E marked a new beginning for MERKUR in North America. At that time, much of the focus was on the potential of joining forces with Gaming Arts. Twelve months later, we can see that potential increasingly taking shape in our products, our processes and, above all, in the way our teams work," explains Dominik Raasch, Member of the Board of Management of MERKUR Games.

Gaming Arts had a prominent weight at the Las Vegas stand, with a wide range of novelties.

Among them, Wild Temple 2 stood out, a new addition to one of its most recognized families of games, together with Showtime, a proposal that introduces a more entertainment-oriented approach within the wheel games category.

The offer was completed with titles such as Imperial River Temple, 7's Fire Blitz and Mysteries of Atlantis.

Paw Link also had a prominent presence, which after its debut at ICE 2026 arrived at G2E with two new additions: Wish Paw and Voodoo Paw.

Both titles maintain the core mechanics of the family, combining base gameplay with Hold and Spin elements, perceived persistence, and expandable reel formats.

Alongside them, MERKUR showcased Dimension Link, another addition to its jackpot offering, as well as new features such as Whirl Wins, Lion's Amulet and the Prime Line multi-game package.

The group's presence in Las Vegas went beyond machines and content.

Spintec reinforced the Electronic Table Gaming section with the presentation of Charisma Craps, in addition to a renewed Baccarat proposal with a greater selection of side bets.

It also showed Charisma Stand Alone, a multi-game machine that integrates six virtual games in a compact format.

For its part, GeWeTe provided its solutions for cash processing, with systems for validation, dispensing and recycling of banknotes and coins.

The entertainment component was also part of the booth's strategy. MERKUR incorporated an immersive experience inspired by The Goonies, a Spintec tournament, and performances by characterized performers such as Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.

For Marcel Heutmekers, Senior Vice President MERKUR Games International, G2E has served to confirm the evolution experienced over the last year.

"G2E 2026 has shown how far we have come over the last twelve months and, at the same time, all the opportunities that still lie ahead," he says.

Heutmekers also stresses that the increased cooperation between the different group companies is beginning to be concretely visible in its product portfolio.

"G2E has once again shown what is possible when we bring together our different strengths, and we are only at the beginning of what we can achieve," he concludes.

With the Mod Ex C49 as one of the great novelties of the event, MERKUR leaves in Las Vegas a clear statement of intent for North America: more specific product, greater integration with Gaming Arts and an offer capable of covering hardware, content, jackpots, electronic tables and technological solutions within the same group structure.
