The Puerto Rico Gaming Commission has participated in the inauguration of the 21st Sportsbook Lounge.
BetMGM has opened the 21 Sportsbook Lounge, a new sports betting space located in the Medalla Arena, within the T-Mobile District, the leisure and entertainment complex in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The venue carries the BetMGM CDM Partner brand.
The executive director of the Gaming Commission of the Government of Puerto Rico, Juan Carlos Santaella Marchán, participated this Wednesday, October 14 , in the ribbon cutting, as reported by the regulator itself.
The Commission highlights that the opening "expands the entertainment offer of this important tourist destination", with "a new sports betting space under our supervision". It frames this in the continued growth of the regulated sports betting industry on the island.
"Working for a legal, safe and responsible industry," the organization adds.
BetMGM is the sports betting and online gaming joint venture between the MGM Resorts casino group and the British operator Entain in the United States.
