The Canary Islands scientific committee considers that in the Islands, due to the low incidence that the coronavirus pandemic has now in them and due to its own geographical reality, this plan could be launched this Monday, April 27; of course, still keeping airports and ports almost closed in practice. The idea, if approved, is that in a first phase the shops will open and children and adults will be able to go outside; in the second, restaurants, churches, funeral homes, swimming pools and golf clubs will be reactivated; in the third, the cinemas, museums, beaches and hotels will reopen their activity and the bars will also lift the shutter; in the fourth, everything will continue to be subject to limitations and the gyms will open.
And all this process will include in the first phases added restrictions: citizens will be able to enjoy these authorized activities on alternate, odd or even days, depending on the number of the portal of their home (limit that will not apply to El Hierro, La Gomera and La Funny) and it will be recommended, when not required, the use of a mask in closed spaces.
PHASE A
- Children up to 14 years old can go out with an adult from 15:00 to 19:00, without using the playgrounds
- Adults can leave from 11.00 to 13.00
- You can visit the second residence or take care of a vegetable garden, always on individual trips and without leaving the island.
- It is allowed to walk outdoors from 5.00 to 9.00 and from 20.00 to 23.00, a maximum distance of 2 kilometers from the home. Also running or cycling (4 kilometers).
- Shops and hairdressers open, with DNI control at the entrance and mandatory use of a mask.
- Open medical and veterinary consultations. Each professional association will establish the required protection measures.
- The administrative buildings are opened, with the use of a mask, capacity control and dispensing of hand sanitizer.
PHASE B, All of the above, and...:
- They open swimming pools, skating rinks, golf clubs, horse riding or scuba diving and other similar outdoor activities, for groups of a maximum of 3 people (or people from a family nucleus who live together) and with maximum stays of 3 hours .
- They open churches and worship centers, maintaining an empty row between benches and a free seat between people.
- They open funeral homes, only for direct relatives of the deceased and with a limit of 10 people.
- The shopping centers are open, for groups of up to 3 people (or family nucleus of people who live together) and under DNI control, limited capacity and monitoring that physical distances are respected.
- It will be assessed whether children can use the playgrounds.
- It will be valued if the restaurants open, at 50% of their capacity, only under prior reservation and for maximum groups of 4 people or family nucleus.
- It will be valued if they open the terraces, with the same limits as the restaurants, except by prior reservation.
- It will be assessed if the beaches are open from 10.00 to 19.00 for maximum groups of 3 people (or family nucleus) and keeping separation distances.
- It will be assessed if hiking in nature is authorized, for groups of 3 people (or family nucleus) and a maximum of one hour away from your home.
- It will be valued if they open the cinemas, theaters, museums and exhibitions, with a mandatory mask and for a maximum of 50 people. If allowed, in cinemas and theaters one out of every two rows will be kept empty and there will be a free space between seats.
- It will be valued if the hotels and apartments open, only for residents of that island and at 50% of their capacity.
PHASE C, all of the above, and...
- They open the playgrounds, if they have not already done so.
- Restaurants open, if they have not already done so, under the same conditions as in phase B.
- The bars open, at 50% of their capacity and for groups of a maximum of four people (or family nucleus).
- They open cinemas, theaters, museums and exhibitions, if they have not already done so, under the same conditions.
- Hotels and apartments open, if they have not already done so, under the same conditions and only for clients from the same island.
- Hiking is authorized and the beaches are opened, if not already done, under the same conditions.
PHASE D:
-The gyms and yoga centers open for groups of up to ten people.
- All previous authorizations are maintained, but nightlife is still prohibited: the discotheques will continue to be closed and "youth street gatherings" will not be allowed.
- Congregations of more than 50 people are still prohibited in public shows, parties, pilgrimages or similar events.
