"The closing of the legal game in Italy is costing the state 750 million euros a month and the loss of revenue for the tax authorities, to date, amounted to 1,500 million euros. To this are added 65,000 points of sale and 75,000 workers nailed to the running of the bulls". This is clearly the president of Acadi (Associazione Concessionari di Giochi Pubblici), Gerónimo Cardia, who accompanies this reality show with concrete measures on how activity in Italy should resume for the gaming sector.

The Association of Public Games Concessionaires, a member of Confcommercio and which brings together 70% of the sector in Italy (including Admiral Gaming Network, Cirsa Italia SpA, Gamenet SpA, HBG Connex SpA, Lottomatica Videolot Rete SpA, NTS Network SpA and Snaitech), requests the Government and Parliament to reopen the activities together with the reopening of the commercial stores. To do this, it guarantees sanitary measures and the best possible conditions of safety and hygiene for staff and customers.

The association also underlines in a press release that the sector, which represents 1% of Italian GDP, guarantees the performance of a public service: control of the supply of games, the confinement of supply. illegal by the territories, as well as significant contributions to tax revenues, as well as significant levels of employment.

The reopening of the stores is an element of survival for the entire sector, which in any case will have to face the economic repercussions of the prolonged closure, as well as protect the offer to continue avoiding dangerous returns from illegal, national and extraterritorial games of chance. The general organizational characteristics of gaming stores, particularly specialized ones, allow adequate health control to be established structurally: access to stores or gaming areas is constantly controlled, physical proximity between customers and staff is limited, Most of the play areas are on compartmentalized surfaces and there is not a high concentration of customers or their frequent circulation within the stores.

In addition to the pre-existing conditions, the sector has organized all the measures to guarantee public health security: the provision of sanitary security devices for staff and customers, the adaptation of reception areas or access control, to avoid the maximum direct contact and closeness between possible people, reduction of the current accommodation capacity of the rooms, control of minimum safety distances between users, implementation of hygiene and disinfection protocols for areas of rooms accessible to the public and for the elements of intensive use, installation of protection mechanisms between gaming stations.
