Belgium: Date of reopening of gambling establishments remains uncertain
This May 11, Belgium begins a new phase in the de-escalation of the confinement called 1B, which includes the reopening of many non-essential companies; however, gaming establishments should remain closed in this new stage as they are considered spaces that involve a lot of physical contact.
In phase 1B of the de-escalation of the confinement in Belgium, cafes, bars, restaurants and other recreational, cultural or tourist places will also be closed.
The non-essential companies that together with the gaming establishments will not be able to open due to their physical contact are the following:
Beauty salons
Non-medical pedicure institutes
Manicure salons
Massage parlors
Hairdressers and barbers
Wellness centers, including saunas
Fitness centers
Tattoo and piercing studios
Casinos, automatic gambling halls and betting offices.
