Melco Resorts & Entertainment, the renowned group that owns integrated resorts, hotels and casinos, has published a new action that reaffirms its commitment to the environment. On this occasion, a team of 100 Melco volunteers cleaned a beach and its surroundings.

Environmental sustainability and volunteerism are two important pillars of Melco’s corporate social responsibility. 100 Melco volunteers took on the task of cleaning up Hac Sa Beach, its surrounding walking trails and picnic areas, beating the summer heat with their determination to do good for the environment and to give back to the community in cooperation with Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM). The volunteers removed rubbish including plastics and debris, as well as cleaning and wiping down the barbeque picnic areas.
Mr. José Tavares, President of IAM, commented:
“IAM is grateful for Melco’s continued support towards the Bureau’s objectives in promoting environmental sustainability. Environmental hygiene is of utmost importance at this time and so we are pleased to see Melco volunteers devote their time and efforts to help us clean up our beaches and walking trails.”
