The powerful groups Partouche and Barrière, leaders in the French gaming sector, have rejected the imposition of a total closure of eleven of their establishments because they are in high alert zones. Companys emphasize that while they must close the doors, restaurants can continue to work and their biosecurity protocols are less strict.
At first, both groups accepted a restricted schedule until 9:00 p.m. and were prepared to adapt, but they do not justify the total closure.
On the other hand, spokespersons for both groups warn about the serious consequences of these measures, since together the eleven closed casinos employ 2000 people.
