We should mention that the change makes it possible for casino customers to use an app to register their information, fund a cashless gaming account and complete the registration process remotely, including identity verification. The process would be completed once the user shows the document upon arrival at the casino.

Amid numerous debates and conflicting positions, a consensus has been reached in favor of facing the challenges of increased use of technology and cashless payments. Along these lines, the Nevada attorney general's office determined that the change would not violate federal anti-money laundering laws.

It is important to mention that the regulation change is only for cashless bets in casinos, it does not affect sportsbooks. The system is expected to be ready in early March.
