The company maintains its position as Austria’s second most valuable corporate brand and climbs to second place in the ESG ranking for the first time
In its 45th anniversary year, international gaming technology group NOVOMATIC has earned new recognition in the Austrian Brand Value Study 2025, conducted by the European Brand Institute (EBI). The company has once again been ranked as Austria’s second most valuable corporate brand and, for the first time, also placed second in the ESG brand ranking.
According to the 22nd edition of the EBI study, NOVOMATIC has secured its position for the sixth consecutive year, with a 3.1% increase in brand value, now totalling EUR 3.859 billion. The company ranks just behind long-time leader Red Bull.
A benchmark in sustainability
For the first time, NOVOMATIC also holds second place in EBI’s Sustainable Brand Ranking, thanks to its comprehensive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments. These efforts are recognised not only by independent ESG rating agencies but also through flagship projects such as the Group’s largest photovoltaic system, reinforcing its sustainability strategy.
“Brand value is a key indicator of corporate strength, recognition, and trust,” said Stefan Krenn, Executive Board Member of NOVOMATIC AG.
“This result reflects the effectiveness of our long-term brand strategy, the success of our growth plan, our innovative capacity, and the strength of our ESG programme.”
Study methodology
The Austrian Brand Value Study, conducted annually by the European Brand Institute, analysed 180 corporate brands from 16 sectors in 2025, more than 45% of which are Austrian-owned, applying international standards ISO 10688 and ISO 20671.
