BETURF incorporates races from more than 80 racecourses in the United Kingdom and Ireland in Argentina
The online platform of the Palermo Racetrack expands its international offer through an agreement with American Racing Channel and GBI Racing.
BETURF, the online horse racing betting platform of the Palermo Racecourse in Buenos Aires, will incorporate races from more than 80 racecourses in the United Kingdom and Ireland from August.
The expansion is the result of the agreement reached by the Argentine racetrack with American Racing Channel (ARC), distributor of equestrian content in Latin America. The races will be supplied by GBI Racing, an alliance formed by Arena Racing Company and Racecourse Media Group.
The catalogue will include events held at some of the main venues in British equestrianism, such as Ascot, Newmarket, Doncaster and Epsom Downs. The Irish programme will feature races from The Curragh, Leopardstown and Galway, among other racecourses.
BETURF users will be able to check the official programs, follow the races live and place their bets on the pools or totalizers of each country. In this way, the same rules, modalities and betting formats used in the respective racecourses of origin will apply.
Glen Swinney, commercial director of Arena Racing Company on behalf of GBI Racing, highlighted the collaboration with the Palermo Racetrack and its commitment to the development of horse racing in Argentina.
The new schedule is in addition to the careers that BETURF already offers from the United States, Canada, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and South Korea, among other markets.
According to the statement, the incorporation of the British and Irish events will also contribute to increase the prizes and strengthen the "Apueste Legal" initiative, aimed at channeling the activity towards an authorized, transparent offer linked to the sustainability of the Argentine equestrian industry.
