Luckia donates $40,000 to TECHO Colombia to rebuild homes after earthquake
The contribution will allow the construction of emergency accommodation for the most vulnerable families affected by the earthquake registered on August 10.
Luckia Gaming Group has donated $40,000 to the organization TECHO Colombia to collaborate in the reconstruction of homes for the communities most affected by the earthquake that hit the country on August 10.
The company will channel the aid through TECHO, an organization dedicated to improving the living conditions of people in vulnerable situations through the construction of emergency housing and the development of community projects.
Luckia's contribution will help provide a quick and safe shelter for families who have lost their homes. The initiative will be complemented by the voluntary work of hundreds of young people, with the aim of offering an agile and close response in the affected areas.
Luckia has highlighted its special relationship with Colombia, a country in which it began its online expansion outside Spain in 2018. Since then, the Colombian market has become one of the strategic territories within the group's internationalization process.
The company has expressed its solidarity with the victims and has recalled that its corporate philosophy places people at the center of its actions.
"In the face of a disaster like this, this time would be no exception," Luckia said in the statement announcing the donation.
