Casino Pause&Play enters sports betting and DAZN BET adds poker with new licenses from the DGOJ

The Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ) has granted three new provisional singular licenses to the operators of Casino Pause&Play and DAZN BET.

Giga Game Online, the company that operates Casino Pause&Play, has received two licences to develop and operate matched sports betting and other matchmaking betting.

The company thus expands an offer that already included slot machines, blackjack and roulette.

For its part, DZBT Deportes, operator of DAZN BET, has obtained a provisional singular license to offer poker. The brand already had permits for sports betting, horse betting, other counterparty betting, slotting, roulette and blackjack.

The three resolutions were granted on September 16, 2026.

The DGOJ has also published several extensions of singular licenses granted on September 8.

These include the renewal of DAZN BET's sports betting and slot machine licenses, as well as the roulette and blackjack licenses of Jokerbet, a brand operated by Veramatic Online.

bet365, through Hillside Spain Leisure and Hillside New Media Malta, has renewed its licences for roulette, blackjack and horse racing counterparty.

Finally, PAF has obtained the extension of its singular license for counterparty sports betting.
