Grecojoc takes its Barometer to the Consell de Gremis
Grecojoc has participated in the last meeting of the Board of Directors of the Consell de Gremis, held on September 22 at the headquarters of Foment del Treball in Barcelona, a meeting in which the association took the opportunity to deliver a copy of the Barometer of Gaming Halls of Catalonia to Joan Guillén, president of the Consell de Gremis.
Representing Grecojoc were its president, Enric Sanahuja, and its technical secretary, Gonçal Aixa, who shared with the members of the Board current business and sectoral issues, in a meeting that allowed for closer institutional relations between both entities and shared concerns related to the challenges faced by the different sectors of the Catalan economic fabric.
One of the highlights of the meeting was precisely the institutional presentation of the Barometer of Gaming Rooms of Catalonia to Joan Guillén, who has participated in the publication as one of the authors of its prologue. The Barometer is an initiative of Grecojoc aimed at providing information and knowledge on the reality of gaming halls in Catalonia, with the aim of contributing to a greater knowledge of the business activity of the sector and providing a consultation tool for its professionals and institutional interlocutors.
Participation in the Board of Directors of the Consell de Gremis is part of the institutional representation activity carried out by Grecojoc to transfer the reality of the gaming halls to the different spaces of business dialogue. Through this type of meeting, the association maintains its commitment to give visibility to the sector, share knowledge and promote relations between associations.
Grecojoc is a non-profit business association founded in 2002 by Jaume Sanahuja Junyent, which brings together and represents the entrepreneurs of gaming and recreational halls in Catalonia, working to defend the interests of its members, the professionalization of the sector and the promotion of a responsible, regulated, safe and technologically advanced face-to-face gambling model.
For its part, the Consell de Gremis de Comerç, Serveis i Turisme de Catalunya is a business representation organisation that brings together guilds and associations linked to commerce, services and tourism, chaired by Joan Guillén, and whose activity contributes to facilitating spaces for dialogue between different sectors and to transferring their needs and concerns to the areas of economic and institutional representation.
