Ocean Casino Resort will invest 14 million dollars to expand its premium slot area by 60% with 192 machines

Ocean Casino Resort, in Atlantic City, has announced a $14 million investment to transform and expand The Cove, its high-stakes gaming space specializing in slots.

The new area, which is scheduled to open in early 2027, will reach 11,935 square feet, approximately 1,109 square meters, which represents a growth of close to 60% compared to its current configuration.

One of the most interesting data for the industry is its new product offering: more than 192 machines from some of the leading international manufacturers, including Aristocrat, Light & Wonder and IGT, as well as other suppliers.

The expansion responds, according to Ocean Casino Resort, to the strong demand registered for its offer of high-limit slots and is part of a broader project aimed at increasing the total number of machines on the property.

The Cove will combine established titles with new games, linked products, progressive experiences and video poker, within a space designed to elevate the premium experience.

The refurbishment will not be limited to the machine park. Ocean will incorporate a specialised cocktail service, new rest areas, its own toilets, dedicated boxes and a reinforced beverage offer, with an approach aimed at personalised service for high-value customers.

The CEO of Ocean Casino Resort, Bill Callahan, has stressed that the investment will improve "every aspect of the environment, from the design and gaming offer to the service and amenities".

The project joins other premium areas of the establishment, such as High Limit Table Games, the private suite The Loft, located 44 stories high and with butler service, and its 8,000-square-foot Asian gaming area, recently doubled and equipped with 32 tables of Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker and other games.

With this performance, Ocean Casino Resort reinforces an increasingly visible trend in large American casinos: more surface area for premium slots, greater concentration of product from leading manufacturers and a high-limit gaming experience that is increasingly closer to the concept of luxury hospitality.
