Stella David places Entain's growth at 2% in the third quarter and highlights the double-digit increase in Spain

The company's digital area experienced a 3% increase in its NGR, driven by the behavior of the casino and slot vertical with an 8% increase, which made it possible to counteract the pressure on sports betting margins due to favorable results for bettors and operational difficulties in Brazil. Excluding this South American market, the group's online NGR growth stood at 5%, with a 7% higher betting volume.

In the geographical breakdown, the United Kingdom and Ireland exceeded the group's expectations with an 8% increase in total revenues and a 14% expansion in its online aspect, while Spain, Canada and New Zealand maintained a very outstanding evolution by reporting double-digit increases in the digital channel. For its part, the global retail business recorded a 2% decline in revenues due to the impact of the sports margin, although it maintained a positive balance of 2% in transactional volume. With regard to the gradual divestment of Entain CEE, the sale of the initial 20% continues within the deadlines set to be completed throughout the fourth quarter of 2026.

Entain's CEO, Stella David, ratified the group's financial forecasts for the end of the 2026 financial year, projecting an annual growth in online NGR of between 4% and 6% and an underlying EBITDA in the lower end of the expected range of between £910 million and £960 million. David also defended the structural importance of physical stores and premises for local economies and employment, issuing a direct warning to the British Executive to weigh any increase in taxation on land-based gambling that could compromise the economic stability of these commercial establishments.
