ADMIRABLE: "Running after a Dream" by ADMIRAL kicks off the 2026/2027 academic year with five sports schools in Madrid and Murcia
Between 40 and 50 athletes with disabilities will train regularly this season.
The sports schools "Running after a Dream" by ADMIRAL have started a new season. The course started on September 15, as reported by ADMIRAL ESG, the NOVOMATIC Spain channel dedicated to sustainability and responsible gambling.
During the 2026/2027 academic year, the project will have five schools in Madrid and Murcia. Between 40 and 50 athletes with disabilities will participate in them on a regular basis, in sessions adapted to their needs.
The initiative goes beyond physical activity. The schools offer a stable environment in which to practice sport, share experiences and develop skills, always with the support of specialised professionals. The company stresses that, once again, sport becomes a tool for participation and accessibility.
The project, led by former Paralympic athlete Lorenzo Albaladejo and funded by NOVOMATIC Spain, continues to grow year after year. Infoplay already echoed the start of the 2024-2025 academic year, when the initiative was being developed in the Region of Murcia. In February 2026 it arrived in the capital: two schools were inaugurated in the Community of Madrid, at the facilities of the European University of Madrid, which were added to the three already existing in Murcia.
That event also served to present the research chair in educational transformation and disability, promoted together with the European University to rigorously measure the impact of inclusive sports programs. At the closing, Ramón Cubián, then delegate for Management and Regulation of Gambling in the Community of Madrid, highlighted the role of regulated gambling and the "soul" of the project.
The trajectory of the schools has also had media and sectoral recognition. Antena 3 Noticias focused on its inclusive success, and ADMIRAL received the Award for the Initiative for the Integration of People with Disabilities in the VII edition of the International Awards for Responsible Gaming and CSR.
