(SPAIN) Cantabria: authorizations for gaming establishments are temporarily suspended
The Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC) published this March 16, contains the agreement of the Governing Council of March 19, which establishes the temporary suspension of authorizations for new gaming rooms and betting venues, until the approval of a new Gaming Law
The Cantabrian Governing Council agreed to suspend authorizations for new establishments, pending the approval of a new Gaming Law that includes planning measures.
Also, there is a period of nine months for the new law; and, in case of not achieving it, an evaluation of the available gaming offer is planned, in order to check if it’s necessary to reach a new agreement.
This agreement doesn’t affect applications submitted prior to its adoption.
