In recent statements, Enrique Reyes, Ceuta's tax director, reiterated the importance of the advantages and fiscal attractions that the city offers to online gaming companies and how the establishment of this sector has had a positive impact on the economy.
In Reyes' words, Ceuta "has opened its arms to 'igaming' companies offering tax advantages and considering the gaming sector as the engine of the economy and generator of wealth for the territory."
Thus, the 24 companies that have transferred their fiscal domicile to Ceuta have allowed the creation of approximately 170 jobs. However, when considering the next new implantations, this number could rise to 250 in early 2021.
