The Autonomous City is 100% funding five specialized courses with a projected job placement rate near 70% for those who complete the training.
Ceuta reinforces its strategy as a technological and online gaming hub with the launch of a new training program aimed exclusively at residents of the city. The initiative, presented at the Hotel Parador de la Muralla, will offer 150 slots distributed across five specialties designed to meet the actual needs of companies in the sector.
The presentation and opening ceremony was attended by Kissy Chandiramani, Councilor for Finance, Economic Transition, and Digital Transformation of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, and Alberto García Valera, Managing Partner at EY.
The training will be delivered by the SGA School and will be fully funded by the regional government, meaning there will be no cost for the participants. In return, students must commit to a strict attendance and performance policy.
One of the most relevant elements of the program is its direct orientation toward employment. According to the information provided, the job placement forecast stands at around 70% for students who successfully complete the courses.
A plan to build local talent
Through the public company PROCESA, the Ministry of Finance, Economic Transition, and Digital Transformation continues to promote specialized programs in the digital field to consolidate a stable business ecosystem in Ceuta.
The purpose is to provide multinationals and online gaming operators established in the city with the talent and technical capabilities they need to continue developing their business, while simultaneously generating new employment opportunities for the local population.
The training will follow a hybrid model, combining in-person and virtual sessions, with rigorous monitoring of the participants' progress.
